friday favorites {september 13th}

It’s been a weird week in Colorado. It finally feels like fall, but that’s because we’re in the midst of some scary flooding as a result of four straight days of rain — in a state that hardly gets even one full day of rain. Luckily, I haven’t been seriously impacted but many friends and co-workers are hunkering down for a weekend possibly without power or the ability to leave their houses. Hopefully the sun will come out soon.

In the meantime, I skipped last week so have a jam-packed Friday Favorites for you today.

I discovered the Ellie Goulding song on YouTube this week. It’s going to be featured in the new Rachel MacAdams movie called “About Time” and I’m obsessed. Like listened to it 12 times in one day and then on repeat in my car on the drive home. Seriously, the perfect song for a rainy day.

I’m also making a {not-so-bold} prediction that Target’s site will crash on Sunday morning when the Phillip Lim collection launches. I knew I liked it from the initial images I’d seen, but in an effort to streamline any purchases I allow myself to make, I reviewed all 126 images from the look book. I probably want 117 of them. Talk about great design — and yet I’m not supposed to be shopping!

{ shop this week’s favorites }

– Old Navy raglan sweater + 20% off with code ONTREAT
– Sole Society flats — cognac color is on clearance

Listen: Ellie Goulding – How Long Will I Love You

Cheers to a {hopefully} sun-shiney weekend!
