2 In Life

paper source lovin’

During our wedding planning process, I constantly thought about paper goods. It was easy {and fun!} for me to obsess over paper thickness, ink colors, letterpressing, designs, and so much more. But lately, I’ve been focused on so many other things, I haven’t had much time for this little side hobby.

Enter the Paper Source Fall 2013 catalog.

The cover stopped me in my tracks — it’s definitely not every day you get something so cool, funky, and powerful in the mail, right? I wish!

Once I got past the cover and the other festive goodies {like the skeleton printed wrapping paper!}, I was pleased to discover some new products. Dive in with me?

It’s hard to believe the 2014 calendars are already out, and Paper Source has long been my go-to for adorable, unique {and totally not cheesy} wall calendars. Can you see why?

While I love my iPhone for organization, I’m realizing that balancing to-do’s, work email, blog inspiration, and general personal scheduling is too much for one little device. So, I’m giving the chevron planner in the middle a whirl and will let you know how I keep up with it!

It’s also hard to believe it’s about time to buy holiday cards. I feel like we just got done designing and ordering our wedding thank you cards {more to come on that!} but I can’t help wanting to indulge in one of these, too. Let’s just call 2013 the year of customized paper goods, shall we?Paper Source holiday card picks from jessalayne.com

In addition to these awesome calendars and cards, Paper Source is a great place to go for inspiration and unique gifts {they also offer lots of crafting classes but I’ve never taken one}. I could easily spend an hour in the 800 sq ft store checking out the sample wedding invites, cards, and tchochkes. But, never fear – if there’s not one near you, you can order most everything they sell online and their website is pretty great, too. Hopefully you’ll take my word for it — their Paper Source branded products, including the paper, are definitely high quality!

So, are you inspired to “Do something creative” as Paper Source‘s mantra says?

This post was not sponsored by Paper Source. I just happen to really love their stores and products. If you hadn’t heard of them before, I hope you find this inspirational!

That’s so true. The store can be dangerous, actually! Fun, but dangerous for my wallet and my craft room.
