Happy Halloween, everybody!

There’s been a little talk around the blogosphere that Halloween is not a favorite holiday for many people. Well, that may be true, but I still find a lot of joy when I embrace any holiday or occasion and make the most of it. I know what you’re thinking, though… I haven’t decorated or planned anything for Halloween and now it’s too late.

I beg to disagree – there’s always time for a last minute craft or DIY to help you feel festive! So, I’ve dedicated this week’s Link Love to 5 ways you can still celebrate Halloween, even if you’re just starting today! The only time consuming one may be the cheesecake bars, but I couldn’t leave those out! { If you’re short on time and still want a sweet snack, swap to this salted candy corn bark instead }

1 // This Pumpkin Spice Latte candle would be the easiest way to set the mood for your Halloween evening. Plus, since you only need a handful of coffee beans and a pumpkin candle, you still have time to make your house smell wonderful as you hand out candy tonight. So simple! via DIY Playbook

2 // It may be a little late to throw together a last minute party { although, I’d be impressed if you were willing to attempt it! }, but you can at least spruce up your tech with these FREE wallpapers! via West Elm blog + Coco Mingo

3 // If you have a little black & white paper { or black & orange, if that’s your thing } laying around, then you can still whip up a very simple and festive garland for Halloween. Personally, I think it’s the patterns in this one that elevate it from your run-of-the-mill elementary school paper garland, so aim for some fun pattern mixing, if you can! via You Are My Fave

4 // Run, don’t walk to the nearest grocery store to get the makings for these Pumpkin Cheesecake bars. If you can get them in the oven before the trick-or-treaters start ringing your doorbell, you will have the perfect treat for yourself { just in case you run out of candy } — or, take them to your Halloween party later on. via SpoonForkBacon

5 // Speaking of a Halloween party… if you’re headed to one tonight, here’s probably the easiest way to be extra festive. Print out a “poison” label and affix it to a bottle of wine or other bottle. Not only will you be the most thoughtful { insert Halloween costume here } and party attendee, you’ll also be totally on-theme and crafty! via A Beautiful Mess
