Delicate Jewelry Trend + A Giveaway {now closed}!

It seems like chunky, statement jewelry has been the leading jewelry trend for several years now. I’ve amassed quite a collection of bold, bejeweled pieces because I love how fun and memorable one necklace can be and how they can take a simple top from everyday to special occasion in no time.

Lately, though, I’ve been sparking to a new jewelry trend that takes my collection in an entirely new direction. Light, airy, and delicate jewelry seems to be everywhere these days. I don’t think chunky bibs and bauble earrings are going anywhere fast, but I’ve definitely noticed an increase in the smaller pendants and delicate chains. Midi rings and layering necklaces are everywhere!

Are you jumping on board with this trend?

If your answer is yes, then you are in for a treat today! A few months ago, I won a contest from another of my favorite blogs, The DIY Playbook, which introduced me to a new Etsy shop, Belleza Mia. And let me tell you, it is the perfect place to shop if you want to give the delicate jewelry trend a try!

The shop is filled with simple, but impactful pieces that could be worn with just about any outfit. Unlike the bold, chunky jewelry that’s filled my closet lately, these pieces are easy to wear with a bold outfit but also pair perfectly with an everyday or relaxed outfit. From pendants to earrings to customized jewelry, there is nothing bland or “big box” about the jewelry Belleza Mia carries. It’s all unique but totally wearable!

A gemstone triangle pendant? Yes, please! How about something funky — and maybe a little hipster like the antler necklace I couldn’t pass up or this branch necklace. And what about an infinity symbol on a bracelet or necklace? That’s actually one of the gifts I gave my bridesmaids at my wedding and it was both meaningful and easy for the girls to wear after the wedding.

So, are you ready for this? After ordering a few of my own pieces from Belleza Mia, the sweet owner, Kendra, agreed to do a giveaway for MY readers, too! We decided to give away one of her most unique and customized pieces, a Home Sweet Home necklace.

Belleza Mia Home Sweet Home Necklace // A giveaway from Bubbly Design Co

You guys KNOW I love all things home state related, right? I think we should all have pride in the state — or states — we come from. In my case, I’ll always have a hard time deciding between Alabama, where I was born, Maryland, where I grew up, and Maine, where I spent every summer.

The great news is that you get to choose! You can literally customize everything about this necklace from the hand-stamped state pendant to the gem/birthstone color and even the necklace length! Plus, if you’re in a giving mood, wouldn’t this be a great gift for a family member or friend? Valentine’s Day is right around the corner, too….
