Link Love // August 21st

This week I stumbled upon the Rising Tide Society’s Instagram challenge and have had a ton of fun connecting with other creative entrepreneurs in open and honest conversation. There’s SO many inspiring and successful makers out there, it can honestly feel quite intimidating at times. Like maybe my blog and my business aren’t full enough, creative enough, or exciting enough. But joining in this mini-movement has been so engaging and reassuring that big things can and will happen (#tinybutmighty might be my favorite takeaway, thanks Alexandra!).

With the weekend around the corner, my hope is to carry all of this momentum and positivity into the next few days to help me knock out some creative projects and dream big about Bubbly Design Co. I hope the weekend brings you plenty of joy and relaxation, too!

Bubbly Design Co. Link Love // August 2015

When I wasn’t stalking the #RisingTideChallenge feed and ogling other Instagram accounts, here are things I was reading, watching, and listening to lately.

FOR READING
I know it’s technically getting to be back to school season, but I tend to think August is the best part of summer. What do you think?

The obsession with downsizing and simplifying–especially in our closets–is having an interesting effect on another industry.

FOR VIEWING
These modern industrial rehearsal dinner invites take the cake — they’re screen printed on metal sheets. Wowzer!

Macaroons make everyone happy, am I right? And these tech backdrops are going to constantly make me hungry.

FOR SHOPPING
I’m challenging myself to find at least 3 ways to style every piece in my closet, so these styling ideas were right up my alley.

D’Orsay. Tassels. Suede. Enough said about these new J.Crew flats I’m dying to get for fall.

FOR LISTENING
Since music is another passion of mine, I thought I’d start including a link to what song or album I’ve got on repeat this week. I would love your feedback and to hear what you’re listening to, as well!

Can’t stop. Won’t stop. The whoooole album.
James Bay, Chaos and the Calm
