Recapping 2015: Top 9 Posts

This time of year I always get nostalgic, looking back at photos and reflecting on the highlights of the past year. I think a little dose of nostalgia isn’t a bad thing and actually allows you to learn, grow, and dream about the future, too. So of course I jumped at the chance to pull my 2015 best nine Instagram photos. From parties, to spaces, to style and of course Petey Mac, it was a really fun year and you guys clearly like many diverse things like me!

Bubbly Design Co's top 9 posts of 2015

There’s no doubt that 2015 was a big year for our little family. I took a new job, which lead to probably the hardest decision and biggest change of all — we left Denver, selling our first house {home, really} in the process, and moved back to New York City. We also welcomed the newest additions to our family, my in-law’s Boston Terrier, Crosby and my niece, Asher Skye. We spent much of our free time venturing up and down the east coast but I also hit a few travel firsts — Austin for SXSW, Miami, and Cabo San Lucas for a bona fide vacation.

On the blog & business front, I designed my first full wedding suite, a gender neutral nursery {reveal still to come!} and baby shower. I added several new products to my Etsy shop and tackled some organization and decor projects around our house/apartment — which included learning how to cope with a much smaller space! I may not have achieved every ambitious goal I set for myself… admittedly, the monthly digital scrapbook was a massive fail… but I still feel proud that I kept Bubbly Design Co. rolling along.

In 2016, I’m already gearing up for another Bubbly party in January {a girly baby shower}, have a bachelor pad room design in the works, and plan to create even more projects and goodies to share with you here on the blog. I have no doubt the coming year will bring highs and lows with it but I have to say I’m ready to take on 2016!

As my final “blog” thought for the year, I want to say a truly heartfelt thanks for stopping by every now and then and following along with the Bubbly Design Co journey. It means the world to see your visits & likes and read your comments. They are what keep me motivated to do bigger and better things. Without your encouragement, Bubbly Design Co. wouldn’t be what it is today.

And with that, CHEERS to a beautiful new year!
