Navy Lace-Up Dress

Navy Lace-up Dress // Seattle Sightseeing Outfit

During our recent trip to Seattle for a family wedding, we squeezed in a few days of sightseeing — I’ll be sharing our favorite spots in another post soon. Although our first day was cloudy, cool and more what we expected of Seattle weather, Sunday was a beautiful sunny day — the perfect excuse to pull out this little navy lace-up dress.

Although a touch dressier than my average sight seeing outfit, it was fun to feel a little more put together as we traversed from a family brunch to driving into downtown, sightseeing at the Space Needle and walking around the waterfront. Plus, the soft, stretchy jersey fabric and flowy skirt made the dress surprisingly more comfortable than jeans and a t-shirt.

Even if you aren’t a regular Bloomingdale’s shopper, I highly recommend checking out their AQUA line. In fact, I have the main AQUA page bookmarked to remind myself to check out this brand every once in a while. The prices are more accessible than many of their others brands/designers and the pieces I’ve picked up are of a higher quality than similar mid-priced brands. Plus, they are forever running great sales, so wait for those!

Get all my outfit details plus a few of my other favorite day dress from AQUA at the bottom of my post.

Fit note: I’m 5’9″ and noticed that during my most recent fitting room try-ons, many of AQUA’s day dresses were on the shorter side for me. Shouldn’t be a concern if you are more average heighted, but this dress is safely a weekend piece for taller girls.
