It’s been awhile since I created a Love, Lust, Must post and for some reason, I can’t get blush pink out of my head, hence the theme of today’s post. I’ve never really been much of a “pink” girl. I wasn’t exactly a tomboy but I had a strong aversion to most shades of pink from a young age.
Even as an adult, I have stayed pretty far away from it, opting more for greens, blues and maybe the occasional purple. However, with last year’s Pantone Color of the Year named as “Rose Quartz,” there’s been no shortage of soft, blush pinks popping up in fashion and home design and I think I’m finally getting on board.
While it might be easy to dismiss this subtle hue as a spring shade, these pieces are all proof that pink can certainly work well into fall and winter. A chunky sweater, especially this one under $50, is a nice alternative to all the neutral sweaters I have in my closet. Or you could pair a neutral sweater you already have with a pink midi skirt, again under $50! When it comes to shoes, the sassier the better if you ask me. Amp up the girliness of blush pink by adding a bow or go velvety.
You can shop all the Love // Lust // Must pieces plus a few of my other favorite blush pieces below.
