Mango Is Killing It – Plus It’s Majorly On Sale

Everyone is talking about the #NSale, or the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. Rightfully so, because there are some great deals to be had and it’s the retailer’s biggest sale of the year. But, in all that hubbub, I thought I’d share a MANGO sale that’s getting significantly less attention but might just be twice as good.

But first, a brief side bar. I’m a Nordstrom devotee and I admittedly did a little damage during the Anniversary Sale, too. For myself, I ordered this cardigan (for stay at home days this fall), this nursing-friendly white top, and a pair of studded mules to make me feel like a cool mom. Then we splurged on a blanket I’ve pined after for years. I’m debating adding these new sheets to my cart today, too. Plus, we couldn’t leave T-man out and ordered a Patagonia jacket for him since it hardly ever goes on sale! I have also been waiting for this wrap sweater (also nursing friendly) to come back in stock and have this cute hoodie sitting in my cart, too.

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Picks:

Back to MANGO, though… If you’re not familiar with the brand, let me introduce you. The easiest description is that it’s a cross between H&M and Zara. The store is chock-full of trendy but also classic pieces at reasonable prices with a slightly European flair.

I’ve found the quality to be fairly good for the price range, but sizing can be a little tricky — I’ve ranged from a size 2 to size 6 and am often torn between the XS and S. Don’t let the styling on the website fool you, their pieces aren’t always as avante garde or boxy as they appear.

Luckily, they offer free shipping on $49 and free returns. With the Mango sale running now, it’s a great time to check them out. This is not sponsored, I have truly come to like the brand and think they’re doing a great job!

Summer Style Picks from the Mango Sale, July 2018

When shopping the sale, my focus was on nursing-friendly “stay-at-home mom” pieces. For my entire adult life, I’ve shopped and dressed mostly for an office environment. Sure, I’ve had a range of dress codes at work, but my wardrobe has largely skewed business casual. Since I’ll be home for the next several months with baby H, I went looking for a few things that’ll be comfortable, easily washable and appropriate for this new (temporary) lifestyle.

Here’s what I ended up grabbing:

Two of these ruffle tees — in white and striped. They are soft, not clingy and you can’t beat the price.

A blue & white printed button down. I first saw Julia wear the two-piece set and now am debating if I also need the skirt

This sweet embroidered tank, which is flowy and perfect for summer.

An easy peplum top in navy.

These joggers in white. Elastic waist bands for the win! And they are not at all see-through — double win!

A modern take on a briefcase, which true I may not use until 2019 but still…

A nursing-friendly white eyelet dress — I’m waiting on a size adjustment here, hoping the 6 fits!

This simple jersey midi dress for under $10!
Looks like it’s out of stock right now, but I’ve signed up for their alerts several times and successfully purchased items upon restock or returns.

What I Bought at the Mango Sale:

Okay, I admit. I might’ve gone a little crazy, but am super excited to wear each and everyone of these pieces. And isn’t that how you should always feel about your closet?

If you can believe it, I’ve pulled a ton of additional Mango sale pieces that I love. Some of these I purchased at full price like this dress which I bought while pregnant or this super soft cardigan I already own. Or, I would happily buy them if I was going back to work soon. Seriously, so much good stuff.

Happy shopping!
